About the Board
The Board of the CTO Professionals Club Macedonia serves as a strategic advisory body that supports the long-term development of the Club and its community. The Board provides guidance, insights, and professional perspectives, while operational and final decision-making authority remains with the governing team of Semos Education, the organization managing and facilitating the Club.
Membership in the Board is voluntary and free of charge and is open exclusively to active members of the CTO Professionals Club.
Purpose of the Board
The Board provides strategic and professional guidance by:
- Advising on the annual program and thematic focus of the Club
- Supporting the development of the professional community
- Recommending initiatives in innovation, education, and digital transformation
- Strengthening partnerships, visibility, and the member network
- Ensuring relevance and quality of events, sessions, and activities
Note: The Board has an advisory role. It does not exercise executive or operational decision-making authority.
Board Composition & Leadership
- The Board will include three active members selected through an open call.
- The Board will appoint a Board Chair, chosen from among its members.
- The Board Chair facilitates meetings, coordinates discussions, and represents the Board in communication with Semos Education.
Meetings & Engagement
- The Board will meet quarterly (every 3 months) or bi-monthly in alignment with Club sessions.
- Additional meetings may be scheduled if the Board determines there is a need.
- Participation in Board meetings is mandatory for all members.
Who Can Apply
Eligibility is limited to active Club members who:
- Hold senior technology leadership roles (CTO, CIO, Head of Engineering/IT, Tech Lead, AI Lead, Security Officer, etc.)
- Participate actively in Club sessions and initiatives
- Demonstrate commitment to contributing to the growth of the technology community
Selection Criteria
Candidates will be evaluated based on:
- Professional experience and leadership maturity
- Engagement and contribution to Club activities
- Motivation to support the Club's development
- Ability to contribute strategically
- Integrity, collaboration, and community-building mindset
Responsibilities of Board Members
Board members commit to:
- Attending regular Board meetings
- Providing input into program development, agenda planning, and strategic topics
- Supporting partnerships, projects, and Club growth
- Contributing expertise to content creation, sessions, and initiatives
- Upholding and promoting the Club's values: openness, collaboration, professionalism, and innovation
